Pastoral Council

Our Pastoral Council is a consultative body of parishioners who assist the pastor in guiding the pastoral life and mission of our parish community. Its members listen to the needs of the entire parish, offer their experience and insight, and help foster unity and a sense of belonging among all parishioners.

Working with the pastor, the Council helps plan, promote, coordinate, and review the broader pastoral priorities of the parish. Its work may touch many areas of parish life, including worship, faith formation, evangelization, charitable outreach, stewardship, fellowship, and community life. The Council is advisory rather than governing; its purpose is to provide thoughtful counsel and help the pastor maintain a clear vision for the parish.

More than simply an administrative group, the Pastoral Council shares in the Church’s mission of building up the Body of Christ. Its members strive to help our parish remain a welcoming center of spiritual formation, service, and evangelization—responding to the needs of our parishioners while reaching out to those who are searching for the strength, hope, and belonging found in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
